DAL MOONG SHELLED | HIMALAYAN CHEF

Himalayan Chef Dal Moong Shelled is 100% Pure and from Whole Moong that is sourced from the local trustworthy farmers of Pakistan. Moong Dal is completely additive-free and has received International Certification for its high level of purity. Moong Shelled offers the nutrients needed for a healthy lifestyle and is appropriate for diets high in protein. The packaging used to deliver split peas is environmentally friendly. KITCHEN TIPS!

Contrary to popular belief, moong dal can be used in a variety of dishes other than dal-chawal, including parathas, roti, sabzi, and dals. Moong Dal is also used in soups and roasted to use as a healthy snack.

MAKE IT QUICKLY WHEN YOU ARE HUNGRY

  • Wash ½ Cup Dal Moong & ½ Cup Rice. Soak rice for 20-30 minutes. 
  • Heat 2 tablespoons of oil and fry cumin, cloves, and bay leave for 1 minute.
  • Then add spices, mix well, and cook for 1 more minute.
  • Add onion, tomato, & garlic and fry until they become golden.
  • Add Dal Moong and fry for 4-5 minutes.Add rice and 4 cups of water. Cover the lid and cook until the rice & dal moong become mushy.
  • Pour in a bowl, garnish with green coriander leave, and serve hot.
