You can either soak the chana overnight or do the quick soak method before you cook them to make chana chaat or Lahore Chana Chat.
Maybe you can find cheaper beans at the store. They will probably taste about the same but the sheer size of these provides a much more luxurious experience when eating.
This is a nice product. We use them to make all kinds of dishes and hummus. Using the pressure pot or baking although it’s getting hot lately! Not great to bake in the summer. My blender is currently being used for our family business so I’ve been mashing well cooked garbanzos with lemon, garlic powder & tahini. It’s a rough hummus. I also put this on with onions and tomatoes and Garam masala and curry powder. Makes a nice stew. This White Chana is so delicious and versatile.

These small white chana are delicious. I soak them overnight, simmer them for about 45 minutes, and roast them in the oven with some canola or olive oil. Then I put them in a bowl, shake some salt on them and eat them as a snack. They are delicious. These beans have a nice flavor and will be delicious however you choose to use them.
