THE POWERHOUSE GRAIN!


  • To cook millet on the stovetop, use 1 cup dry millet: 2 cup liquid ratio. Simply combine the two in a pot and bring to a boil.
  • If served alongside or in savory foods, you can use water for a neutral flavor or vegetable broth for extra flavor.
  • When it reaches a boil, cover and simmer for 18-20 minutes or until the liquid is absorbed. Then fluff with a fork, cover, and set aside for 10 minutes. This allows the grains to absorb any residual water and puff up! 
  • It goes well with stir-fries, bowls, salads, cakes, and other dishes.
