These black grams are very tasty. We have used them in salads, boiled then oven roasted and also in humus. Excellent flavor and texture.
I make my own hummus..wow, such a rich flavor! the chickpeas are wonderful as a snack, side dish. thank you,
Good flavor fresh great packaging fast shipping
Really like this black chana first time trying the black ones and they are great!
Very Delicious! I love the texture when cooked it does not go mushy. I cooked it in my instant pot.
It takes a little longer to cook. Instant pot 30 minutes. I soaked overnight. I like the taste and l mashed some for a hummus.
Great flavor and quick delivery. The price is a little high but overall we were happy.
Interesting flavor I cooked a large pot of these We ate some with curry We made hummus out of the rest Nice
I love chick peas. Dried peas in a sturdy bag saves space (no cans). The peas are easy to reconstitute by soaking and boiling. As well, the peas have their own unique umami flavor.
Overall the Himalayan Chef brand is a tastier product, and I bought it because my Indian grocery store is too far away for me to go to and buy my usual other brand. Would I buy the Himalayan Chef brand again? I would if I didn’t want to drive 80 miles to my nearest grocery store. However, if I were to drive that far to buy my groceries then I would just pick up the, and wish it were the Himalayan Chef brand instead. The Indian grocery store I usually go to does not carry this brand of kala chana.
